REVIEW: Hydro-Boost HHO Fuel Heater by Charles Armsterd

The HHO (Hydroxy or Brown's Gas) craze is sweeping the automotive geek community. The concept is great. You install a few relatively inexpensive components on your car, fill the generator with water and lye and the resulting hydrogen and oxygen gas combines with the gasoline or diesel in your engin to produce more bang for your fuel buck.

Reports suggest that installing a HHO system can increase your mileage from a little as 10% to as much as 75% depending on the type of installation and the kind of vehicle.

As with most things online there are tons of people selling HHO Scam devices. If you read my other article on HHO Systems you will find one of the few reliable companies.

In this article I will review on of the integral components and expose one of the sellers that you will want to avoid.

A little over a month ago I purchased a HHO Fuel System Heater from Charles Armsterd, the person promoting www.hydro-booster.com. The item arrived and to say that I was disappointed would be a huge understatement.

Aside from being poorly built, with dripping solder at the joints, these heaters are simply far to small to be installed on the radiator hose on most automobiles and too small to work on any truck. Even though Armsterd advertises them as suitable you can look for yourself. Do these look like they are well built? Would you want somethng built like this on your car?

As I mentiond, for every scammer that sells worthless junk there is at least one guy selling high quality products. This case is no different.

My experience suggest that in order for these to be a good value a few things must be present:

• Quality Construction
  The HHO Fuel Heater shown here has a case made from a single piece of copper, not pieced together from plumbing parts and soldered.
• Longivity
  These are powder coated in a variety of colors. The powder coating prevents the copper from oxidizing and weakening. This means that the product will last longer than exposed copper.
• Price
  These sell for about 30% less than the Hydro-Boost model.
• Correct Size
  These come in a wide range of sizes which will fit anything from a small import to the largest of trucks.
